Dear Mr./Ms. Last Name:

The purpose of the first paragraph of your letter is to thank the hiring manager for taking the time to interview you.

The second paragraph of your thank you letter should consist of the reasons why you are a strong contender for the position. Make a list of specific skills that are relevant to the job you interviewed for.

If you didn't get a chance during the interview to mention some information about your qualifications, then take the opportunity in the third paragraph to do so.

In your closing paragraph, repeat how you appreciate being considered for the position and let the person hiring know you are looking forward to hearing from him or her soon.

Leave a blank line after the salutation, between each paragraph, and before the closing.

Best Regards,
