INVENTORY STORE PERSON – MARSDEN PARK

We are seeking an INVENTORY STORE PERSON for our client an International company specialising in sporting foot ware and apparel who are based in MARSDEN PARK for their Day Shift 6am – 2pm. This role commences in a casual capacity moving to a permanent offer after a qualifying period and assessment of work performance.

Purpose of the Role:

The Inventory store person is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring that all products are properly stored and accounted for. This position requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Verify inventory stock check for internal and external customers needed.
  • Prepare reports on inventory location levels to Supply Chain team for SKUs slotting.
  • Perform regular inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with outbound team to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain a clean and organised inventory storage area.
  • Provide adequate stocktake training for warehouse staff.
  • Investigated claims.
  • Create stock sheets.
  • Assign pick location to WMS from slotting plan..
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Receive and process incoming inventory.

Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
  • Deliver work of high standard and monitor quality of work.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and operate a forklift preferred.

You will need:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Forklift licence High Reach
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Fit for manual handling duties.
  • Solid working history.
  • Full Australian Working Rights.
  • Able to work Monday – Friday day shift 6am – 2pm.
