Production Operator – Chester Hill

Our client, a leading supplier to the Australian tiling industry, is based in Chester Hill and specialises in a range of construction products, including adhesives, grouts, waterproofing membranes, and more. They are currently seeking a Production Operator on a casual basis, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and hold a valid forklift licence.

Must be available Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm

Key responsibilities

• Handling material
• Preparing batches of product
• Measuring and mixing of product
• Order preparation
• General production and manual handling duties
• Occasionally driving forklift (counter balance)
• Working within a Team environment
• Full availability on weekdays, Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm

About you

• Production operation or process working experience
• Having worked within a manufacturing environment
• Hold a current Forklift License
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Must have a good work ethic, great attitude a willingness to turn up on time
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Effective teamwork skills
• Good reading and writing skills for labels and understanding instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliability and willingness to work 5 days per week
• Have a safety-oriented approach to the workplace
• Full availability on weekdays, Monday to Friday
