Maurizio Ayad is the CEO and co-founder of ASTAR Service Group that was established in 2006. In a career spanning over 16 years Maurizio’s extensive knowledge and industry experience has built the business to become a leading recruitment agency in Australia & New Zealand.

He has been able to analyse and implement strategies that has led to profitable growth for ASTAR Services Group since establishing in 2006.

Maurizio’s career began in Marketing and HR and later expanded his portfolio in the Training and Education Industry. Maurizio influence on strong company policies & procedures and customer focus is one of the main reasons why ASTAR brand continues to grow.

Dean Critharis
Chief Executive Officer

Dean Critharis is the CEO of ASTAR Recruitment. Dean brings a wealth of knowledge to ASTAR Recruitment with his experience expanding from Industrial & Construction Recruitment to Corporate & Executive Recruitment.

He professionalism along with his no fuss attitude to deliver to clients expectation is one of the reason that clients stick to the ASTAR brand.

Dean holds a number of qualifications in Business, Leadership and Management, and HR.

Luba Charlton
Business Partnerships Manager 

Luba is the Business Partnerships Manager for ASTAR Recruitment. Luba brings over 25 experience in Human Resources.

Her experience expands over Industrial Recruitment to Corporate Recruitment, HR Consulting & WHS Consulting and Industrial Relations. There is not much in HR that Luba has not covered in her experience. Most of all she is a peoples person and understands business workforces in detail, this make Luba the perfect person to guide our clients.

Tracy Mellish
Industrial Recruitment Manager

Tracy Mellish is the Industrial Recruitment Manager for ASTAR Recruitment. She is a key part of the management team and is responsible for client satisfaction across the business.

In her role, Tracy oversees projects, implementation, transitioning of staff and ensuring the candidates and clients requests are all been met on a regular basis.  Tracy’s 20 years of experience extends into the Manufacturing, Warehousing and Logistics sector of the recruitment industry.

Tracy holds a number of qualifications including a Business Management and Return to Work Certification.

We are grateful having Tracy as part of our brand for a number of years. She is one of the main reasons why our placements continue to be successful.
