CHEMICAL BLENDER – POWDER BLENDER

About the Role:

As a Chemical Blender, you’ll be the backbone of the powder mixing operations, ensuring precision and consistency in every batch. You’ll work closely with the production supervisor to uphold our stringent quality standards and keep operations humming along smoothly.

Hours 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday (38 hours + 2 hours Overtime)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately weigh, measure, and blend raw materials for laundry powder production.
  • Operate blending and mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct in-process checks to maintain product quality and uniformity.
  • Follow strict batch sheet instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in raw material inventory control and stock rotation.
  • Clean and maintain blending machinery and work areas.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain detailed production and batch records.
  • Learn Safe Dangerous Goods handling procedures.
  • Use PPE provided at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in chemical blending or powder mixing (laundry powder experience is a huge plus!).
  • Ability to read and interpret batch sheets and technical instructions.
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety and chemical handling procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Physical fitness: for manual handling
  • Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
  • Candidates must have full working rights or unlimited working restrictions.
